CENTERVILLE MUSIC "SERVING THE MIAMI VALLEY FOR OVER 600 YEARS"
You’re looking at a 1984 Daion Power Mark XX Bass in very good condition with the original hard case. You don’t see these for sale very often and they are kind of collectable. Everything appears to be original, but I'm not sure about the knobs -unless they used several different kinds. Daion went out of business in the mid-’80s. They were based in Texas and the instruments were made in Japan by Matsumoku.
There are some small dings and light playing wear, but nothing serious, no chips missing. There is very mild fret wear, again, nothing serious and the case is in reasonable shape- all latches & hinges work as they should.
The neck is straight, the action is low and the truss rod works. The electronics are in good shape and are not noisy. The gold plating has faded on the bridge plate and there is some discoloration of the saddles (see pic), but, hey, the bass is 33 years old!
