Dave's Guitars Charlotte is proud to offer a gorgeous 1975 Rickenbacker 4001 in classic Mapleglo finish option.
This bass plays fantastic and sounds even better! Punchy, full tones and very versatile; I prefer to keep it in the middle position and play with either fingers or a pick—did I mention stereo?!
This bass appears to be in all-original condition save for a few minor repairs which are all very good things for this bass. In fact, I know the luthier who did all the work! It has new truss rods, a replaced nut, dressed frets and buffed fingerboard finish. It is important to mention that while this bass has no "real issues," the G can slip off the fretboard if you play super aggressive.
Comes with original blue-lined hardshell case, original—chipped—pickguard, and original truss rods.
Being picky, its cosmetic condition is 7.5/10–yes, there are are scratches, dings, and signs of usage over the past several decades. This is a used bass.
