What a nice example of a cherry 335. This custom shop 1961 reissue is simply a desert island guitar. If you only had one guitar to bring with you, it certainly should be this one. Besides its stunning looks, this one sounds absolutely beautiful. Acoustically, it just rings and resonates in such a pleasant way. The 61 taper neck is lovely and perfect for the player who loves the slimmer 60's profile feel. Single notes are crisp and clear with excellent intonation. Chords sound rich and full, and when you plug in, this puppy comes alive. The custom alnico III humbuckers have a bit of everything. Lots of airiness and clarity punch. Great note separation when playing with overdrive and they clean up just like a great vintage paf.
This guitar does have the typical light buffing marks and other light marks throughout. Most of this, is part of the VOS finish (its supposed to look like a vintage guitar). So please view the pics closely and message me if you have any questions.
