1979/1980 Aria Pro II PE Standard in Vintage Sunburst Finish

Excellent condition.

All Original!!

I believe this to be a PROTOTYPE of the new PE series launched in 1979/1980. At this time Aria wanted to have market share in the USA which they could not do copying traditional Gibson, Fender, Rickenbacker and BC Rich designs due to U.S. copywrite infringement laws.  This guitar has a neck plate from a mid-70's Aria Flying V model which I have not seen on a Les Paul style guitar from them. This tells me that they were trying to figure out less expensive ways to manufacture this instrument and still stay competitive in the U.S. market after taxes and tariffs.

Quite a unique guitar.

I don’t see any wear on this instrument. There is a slight bit of petina to the bridge and tuners and one small dink on back near contour edge.

Paint is glossy. Frets are great.

Includes original, plush lined, soft shell case which is also in Excellent Condition!

-Instrument is sold *As Described* so please ask any and all questions before purchasing.
