• I am offering a 30 day warranty on this unit!
• New battery soldered in
• Above average cosmetic shape compared to others for sale
• Power supply is fully and professionally rebuilt for maximum reliability
• Both info cards present and undamaged. Slight snag on one rack ear. The TX802 is the 2U rackmount version of the DX7-IID. This one is in perfect shape.

Power supply 100% fully rebuilt, [Replaced all electrolytic, film and safety capacitors. Several film capacitors were burnt from overheating, and two caps had already began to leak from beneath despite the synth still working perfectly before service. All electrolytic caps are now rated to at least 10,000 hours of operation at 105 degrees, compared to the original capacitors pulled off this unit, only rated to 2,000 hours of operation at 85 degrees). All safety capacitors replaced with modern X2 capacitors for maximum safety. New film caps have a higher voltage and temperature tolerance so that they won’t burn like the originals did. The new ones also will not degrade in performance at those higher temperatures like the original ones do. Note the high price is because I am in no rush to sell it and it is in better shape than most. I took lots of care to properly rebuild the power supply so that nothing will need to be re-serviced for decades. You can check the last photo of the listing - I'm showing the aforementioned burnt film capacitors shown next to identical but non-burnt ones so you can get an idea of why doing full rebuilds on these vintage units really matters to keep them running in top shape.
