Jackson X Series Kelly KEX Electric Guitar - Ferrari Red

Serial Number:  ICJ2207704

Aggressive Tone with Looks to Match You don't need to sacrifice tone or style with the Jackson X Series Kelly KEX electric guitar. You've got two high-output Jackson humbucking pickups packed with an arsenal of aggressive tone, and you can dive-bomb to your heart's content, thanks to the Floyd Rose locking tremolo. Best of all, the compound-radius fingerboard means you'll have exceptional playability across the entire neck. Crank up your favorite amplifier, dig into a big fat chord or rip into a high-octane run, and the Kelly KEX will absolutely sing.

Looks as serious as it sounds

The Jackson X Series Kelly KEX's body shape — with sharp corners and an angular profile — exudes big attitude. The guitar's body is crafted from poplar, which is one of the most popular body tonewoods among high-gain players. Though its appearance may seem extreme, the Kelly KEX is exceptionally comfortable whether standing or sitting. Plus, the guitar's bold look continues up the neck, with black shark fin inlays spanning the fingerboard. The classic 6-in-line headstock rounds out this mean-looking metal machine.

Floyd Rose for precise pitch control

In typical Jackson fashion, this incredible Kelly KEX was built with quality hardware. That's why you'll find a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo on board. The Floyd Rose is recessed into the body, allowing for the ability to both raise and lower the pitch. Traditional Floyd users will feel right at home with the Special tremolo, which yields the same feel of an original Floyd while adding to the Kelly KEX's amazing response.

Speedy neck for fast runs up the frets

The Kelly KEX features a 12- to 16-inch compound-radius fingerboard for ultimate playability. The fingerboard is rounder near the nut for easy chording and fast single-note riffing. As your playing moves up the frets, the radius flattens out to 16 inches. Not only is this easier for high-speed runs, but a flatter radius is ideal for wide string bends and vibrato. Players know that with a neck that plays this slick, you'll be up at the 24th fret before you know it.
