Offered for sale, a USA Kenny Hill Curva Negra made in the Hill shop in California

-650mm scale
-51mm nut
-Engelmann spruce top
-Indian rosewood back and sides (with really nice grain)
-All french polish
-Schaller Hauser style tuners

A really wonderful crossover. There is even a very very slight radius in the fretboard, just a touch more than flat. Current string height is just below 3mm on the bass and 2.5mm on the treble, and playing really nicely. A featherweight guitar that’s a pleasure to hold and play.

Classical guitars from the Hill shop have the notably nice feature of having a truss rod, so relief adjustments are possible. For me it is in a great place as it is.

The guitar is overall in very good shape, with only expected light marks in the delicate french polish. I have always liked the flatter sheen of shellac, which provides a soft glow. A detail I love on this particular one is the green purfling theme on the back and sides. It’s a nice touch of class.

A really fine guitar made in the USA from a shop with many years of experience in the nylon / classical tradition. It comes with a Travelite case with hygrometer.

Thanks for looking, any questions please feel free to ask.
