It has a newly installed K&K Element piezo pickup, which makes it very reverberant and gives it a very lively top for percussive effects. It is a single cutaway, which I had to special order. I think a cutaway is essential. The back is immaculate despite the sun spots in the photo. I play in various open tunings in baritone range and string it under the tailpiece for more sustain, although National recommends stringing it over the tailpiece. I don't play blues or slide, as many do with these instruments, so the action is low. Sorry I didn't photograph the outside of the case; it has some surface scrapes, but essentially still looks like a new case inside and out. Local pickup in Oakland, CA only. These instruments currently sell new for over $4K. The one in the video has no cutaway and mine is black powder coated.
