Edcor CXPP25-8K/23% 25W push-pull tube output transformer Blue

I've had this transformer sitting in the closet new and unused for a few years for a project I don't think I'll ever get around to, so it can be yours for a lower price with faster delivery than direct from Edcor. This is a "hi-fi" rated transformer and can be pushed above the rated wattage for guitar use -- for comparison, the "45 watt" 5F6A Tweed Bassman transformer is the same weight as this "25 watt" Edcor.

Design
The CXPP series was designed as a high quality output transformers push-pull tube amplifiers.

Primary (Input)
The input is designed for a 8K Ohms impedance source.

Screen/Grid Tap
This unit has a 23% screen/grid tap depending on model. This tap percentage provides optimal power for ultralinear operation. You may also seal off the screen taps and leave them unused if ultralinear operation is not desired.

Magnet Wire
All units are wound with the finest virgin . All windings use heavy insulated wire to provide excellent manufacturing yield, lower customer cost and superior life.

The Core
EDCOR uses the finest  cores. Each unit is hand stacked to assure at least 92% stack.

The Bobbin
Injection molded . The addition of glass fibers allows a higher heat deflection temperature and it brings the material to a class HB UL temperature classification.

Termination
The terminations are  color coded lead wire around 15 inches (38cm) long.

This unit comes with  for mounting with the use of four screws. See dimensional drawing.
