The Kenwood KVR-510 was made between 1982-1985. This 30 wpc model, with an msrp of $420.00 was sold between 1982-1985. This was one of the first developed by Kenwood with options for video, such as cable and VCR, as well as inputs for tape, phono, aux, etc. This model also has a blue led digital display. Additionally, an A and B speaker output, loudness control, sound enhancement option, noise reduction, auto/manual FM tuning/muting with six station memory presets. It has a battery memory backup (AA), headphone jack and two un-switched outlets. This Kenwood KVR-510 has an excellent sound stage for a 30 watt unit.
Although it is ‘used’, this unit has been used only a few times and has spent most of its life in the box – I still have the manual and original packing materials. Shortly after purchasing it, I started to buy more high-end audiophile gear, and had little need for it. As you can see from the photos, it looks brand new, and is in excellent working condition. The dimensions are 17 ½” x 11” x 4 ¼”.
