The Classic S Paulownia is part of Suhr's 2021 Limited Edition offerings. Lightweight and sporting a Roasted Birdseye Maple neck.
Paulownia is quickly becoming one of the most-loved new woods for guitar builders across the globe. Lighter than Swamp Ash and boasting plenty of figuring and grain to entertain the eye as well as the ear. Lively, responsive, and easy on the shoulder and the back, the Classic S Paulownia is another triumph from our friends at Suhr!
After the incredible feedback regarding our Classic T Paulownia 2020 LE, we would now like to introduce the Suhr Classic S Paulownia 2021/2022 LE, arriving this Fall. A beautiful Paulownia Classic S body, available in Trans Sonic Blue, Trans 3 Tone Burst, Trans Seafoam Green, and Trans White, all with tortoise shell pickguards. Paired with a 3A Roasted Birds-Eye Maple ’60’s C vintage standard’ neck and fingerboard with heavy stainless-steel frets. A Suhr V63 pickups in the neck and middle positions, and a Suhr DSV humbucker in the bridge with a 5-way blade pickup selector, a Gotoh 510 with bent saddles and steel block.
