About This Listing

Rotator cuff surgery and imminent hand surgery for arthritis in my fingers has severely limited how often and how long I play guitar, and the writing on the wall tells me I should part with this amazing Guild Benedetto Artist Award Model beauty that I bought in 2015. The spec sheet I have is listed below.  Always in a non smoking home, never gigged, pristine condition save for some minor pick scratches on the pick guard and a very minor imperfection on the purfling where the neck meets the body (photo provided). Otherwise MINT.  5 ply faux alligator hard shell case, all solid carved woods. Hand Carved and Graduated Solid Spruce Top, Flamed Solid German Maple back and sides, 5 piece Curly Maple neck, Ebony fret board, Benedetto Model S-6 Floating Single Coil Pickup , Pearl and Abalone fret markers, engraved Harp tailpiece. This thing is SWEET to look at and SWEETER to play.  The sticker on the inside of the body is hand signed by Bob Benedetto.  Made in Westerly Rhode Island.
