Here we have an awesome 7” x 14” Pork Pie USA Custom Bubinga/Cherry “Cherry Pie” snare drum in excellent condition. This is an outstanding example of the superb craftsmanship by the Pork Pie team led by Bill Detamore in southern CA
USA. This custom-built handmade snare is based on an 8-ply shell with 4-inner plies of Bubinga and 4 outer plies of Cherry. Its exterior is a high gloss clear, and outfitted with 10 double-end Pork Pie hourglass chrome lugs, 2.3 TF hoops, lightly-used Remo coated Ambassador batter and clear Ambassador reso heads. It has also been upgraded with Puresound 30-strand snare wires, which add even more responsiveness and sensitivity. This bad-boy has a wide tuning range and provides an amazing crack at high tuning as shown in the video example of this model.
