1986 Charvel Model 1A, strat clone. If you're looking you know. The Japanese-made Charvels of the mid-80's were on par and more often than not better made than their American counterparts. This one is no exception. Plays fantastically, low action, no fret buzz, excellent tone from the maple stock and Jackson factory pickups. Neck is straight and true. Truss rod works. Tuning keys, tremolo, and trem bar are factory stock original. Headstock is point with no damage, there's a bit of scuffing at the edge of the black paint on the headstock. Pick guard has swirl marks from play, body has light swirl marks from play. Guitar is in excellent condition for being 36 years old. Comes with Charvel tweed case, one latch (middle) is broken (missing top half), the other two work per norm; the middle latch could be fixed with a replacement latch as the case wood itself is undamaged.
