A Custom bass guitar that won't break the bank? Yep, that's right! This exquisite Sparka Studios custom is one cool guitar. It boasts a one-of-a-kind custom wood-burned front that continues around the edge and headstock. Every element is drawn with pencil, freehand, then meticulously burned into the wood taking over 100 hours to complete.

This 4- string bass features a single Guild BS-1 BiSonic pickup, Hipshot Kick-Ass Bridge, and Custom electronics from 920D.

This is a unique instrument that you really don't want to miss out on. It's perfectly imperfect! As with any custom artist hand-made item, there are slight "imperfections" in the design, wood, and finish. These aren't flaws but part of a unique artesian item.

Artist Statement:

Upon visiting The Oregon Garden in Silverton and seeing the Signature White Oak tree, the artist became inspired to capture the essence of the 400-year-old tree that towers 100 feet into the sky. The canvas became a wood bass that perfectly integrated Oregonian's connection and affinity for nature with our strong relationship with music. She took the bass apart and partially stripped the paint and sealant leaving traces of paint on the front and leaving paint on the back. Next, she penciled in the design and finally burned in (pyrography) the Oak tree. As the artist created this piece, she imagined sitting at the base with its gnarled branches growing to the ground and back up, listening to the deep sounds of its branches moving like the strings of a bass resonating through the air.
