This is a pretty rare and oddball amp. It's been a long time since I have seen one (and I say that with a NOS one sitting in the original box sitting outside my door). The story my rep told me back in the 90's was this, and forgive any misinformation- the company, St Louis Music who made and distributed Crate (all made in the US at that time, in St Louis) made a limited run, mainly for their sales reps. I checked my memory, and called my old sales rep and this was the story we remembered. They made 50 of these and gave one to each rep. They had a few left over and my rep got me 2 for a giveaway for a huge invitation only sale we had every year.  Who ever won the first one, their son/daughter/dad/mom got the other. A good friend of mines son won one, and he got the other. They got used periodically, mainly to sing through, and work and sound great. 12AX7 preamp tube, EL84 output, solid state rectifier, 4-5 watts. Nice distortion, and a look that will make anyone over 50 will grin. I have both, this is for one, this one has the original Groove Tube tags (which are still in the amp), and owners manual. The box is long gone. Whoever gets this one can have the option to get the other. Thanks for looking!
