If you're looking for a USB interface to use with a PowerPC mac to drive speakers and input sound, look no further. If, however, what you want is an interface with XLR inputs and mic preamps that'll work with a modern Mac or PC, I highly recommend you look at the Mackie Onyx Blackjack or the Presonus Scarlett series, or even MOTU's offerings.
