Jose Oribe Classical Guitar 1978

A lovely guitar from a noted maker, this Jose Oribe Calidad Suprema features a solid redwood top, solid Brazilian rosewood back, Brazilian rosewood sides, and a 12-fret mahogany neck. Appointments include a 19-fret ebony fingerboard, a fancy rosette and colored wood marquetry on the top and bridge, clear tap plates on the top, and gold tuners with pearloid buttons. This classical guitar is in very good condition with some normal wear as shown in the photos. 

Oribe is a heralded luthier out of California. His hallmark and craft are centered around his exacting total control of the classical guitar building process. Here are a couple of excerpts from The Classical Guitar Book: A Complete History -
