Pro-serviced Korg PolySix in excellent condition
The Korg PolySix is a classic 80's analog polysynth produced from 1981 to 1985 in response to the Prophet 5, with the characteristic sound of the SSM 2044 4-pole filter, also used in the PPG Wave, the Korg Mono/Poly, Trident and many others. It's a very capable synth which can produce the classic Juno 6/60 textures, as well as its own sonic palette thanks to its filter but also to its wonderful Chorus, Phaser and, specially, Ensemble analog effects. This raw, in-the-face unique character is the reason why its value is steadily increasing over time, although not yet priced as their more expensive Roland counterpart.
This particular unit has some chips on the wood cabinet (specially in the lower back of the sidepanels, check detailed pictures) like 99.9% of PolySixes nowadays, but I nevertheless list it as excellent because has been thoroughly serviced and future-proofed, so you get a synth where all the potential pitfalls that each and every unit of this model will face sooner or later have been addressed and fixed for good, including:

- Battery leakage: mild trace damage due to old leakage fixed, battery and nearby components replaced
- Optocoupler: replaced component that typically fails not allowing correct tuning
- Potentiometers: cleaned and lubricated
- Button switches: all replaced
- Factory calibration and tuning
- Factory presets loaded
