Light Back Routed Swamp Ash 1" Wood Strips Strat (Woodtech, USA) in Golden Amber Truoil Finish

Here’s a modern and light stratocaster body composed of one inch swamp ash strips, for two point tremolo and back-routed controls. This body was sealed & finished in a golden amber color plus half dozen coats of truoil, all hand rubbed plus wet & dry sanded, providing a smooth surface and warm satin sheen. This body is not pre-drilled controls, meaning you are free to choose your own 2 or 3 knob layout. This modern style strat body was custom ordered for finishing by "Guitars by Buren" from the great wood and CNC wizards at Woodtech Routing.

This solid chunk of swamp ash strips weighs in at a very reasonable 4 lbs. and 1.5 oz. (4.1 lbs) which equates to an assembled strat at around 7.5 lbs. – nice!
