Fusing a classic design with player-centric features, the K Douglas Acer HSS delivers superb playability and unmistakable style. The silky, natural maple Traditional “C” neck fits your hand like a glove, with smooth rolled edges for supreme comfort. The 9” radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets facilitate fluid leads and glassy bends. Smooth and responsive, the 6 screw tremolo provides classic vibrato effects, while the Grover 'EZ lock' tuners provide rock-solid tuning and make string changes quick and easy. Highlights
Maple Neck and Alder Body

The Canadian Maple neck provides excellent stability and a handsome grained finish. The Alder used for the body is preferred for stronger mids and its light weight.

Cattle Bone Nut

Cattle bone is a hard, natural material and it has been favored by many luthiers for higher-end and vintage instruments for its sustain and natural lubricating property.

Hand Polished, Dressed and Leveled Nickel Frets

Nickel frets provide a durable and smooth playing surface for nice and easy bends, without the tonal sacrifice of stainless steel. All fret ends are also hand-dressed for playing comfort.

**This guitar has some scratches,dings,scuffs and 'patina' from its previous 
incarnation as well as a couple of minor blemishes due to the 
redesign/rebuild. Nothing too noticeable, see photos for condition.


**There is one small cosmetic issues to note:

I had planned on a different bridge modification, and in doing so I made the bridge cavity a bit larger than was originally on the guitar. After realizing that modification wouldn't work, I went back to a traditional bridge. That being said, there is a visible gap/hole/space under the bridge, about 1/4" off the bridge itself (see photos). Its barely noticeable and doesn't affect the play-ability of the guitar or the integrity of the bridge at all.
