Octave Plateau Voyetra Eight 8 Voice Polyphonic Synthesizer

Up for grabs is a Octave Plateau Voyetra Eight Rev 4. Rev 4 is the final revision which includes all of the available MIDI interfacing.

We were extremely grateful to acquire this unit through a top tier broker and tech wizard to the stars who rarely ever allows pieces of this caliber to hit an open marketplace.

Technically, this Voyetra Eight is fully functional and future-proofed. Under previous ownership, it was serviced at The Analog Lab (designers of Voyetra Eight) about 10 years ago. Upon acquisition, just to be on the safest side, we again had it serviced to assure another 40+ years of flawless performance with full diagnostics, fresh power supply capacitors, a new battery, matching genuine period correct respective CEM and SSM chip throughout, all precision trimmers disassembled and cleaned, all cards inspected, and full calibration. It will include 2 custom high quality XLR to MIDI 5 Pin-Din cables for in and out interfacing.

Cosmetically, as you can see it is in fantastic condition. Yes, there are some noticeable but minor blemishes on the chassis from installing the unit into different racks over the years. A modest 9/10 rating on cosmetics.

We don’t have track note on where exactly it was used within specific songs or sessions. Still, we can confirm this Voyetra Eight was used on upward of 100 releases and in some capacity on the following highlighted releases:

Update June 11: Thanks to all who have inquired. We have received 2 questions specifically about the play of the trimmers so here is the direct response for anyone else who may inquire:
Tension over the precision program parameter trimmers varies a bit but nothing drastic i.e. too tight or too lose. Keep in mind they are precision military spec trimmers so they are of a much higher quality than typical pots.  Similar to what Oberheim used early on in the original SEM with the long shafts. After being cleaned and resealed out of preventative maintenance they all perform flawlessly and have a smooth consistent range over the full rotation in both directions. To show how confident we are in their performance, if the buyer has any issues to no fault of their own within, say a 3 year period on them, we will 100% cover the cost for any replacements.  No repair tech out there is going to offer anywhere near 3 years on a part's performance and certainly no seller is going to offer to cover anything longer than they are required.  If you have any further questions feel free to send us a message at anytime.
