This is a vintage 1979 Yamaha F1030 “Frequency Dividing Network” (3-way mono crossover). It has its share of cosmetic wear but this unit is built like a tank and still works great. While testing it we gave the potentiometers a good cleaning. Many of the chassis screws were pretty worn so we replaced them with fresh stainless steel M4 screws with 2.5 hex heads. The plastic face plate has some cracking and some small pieces missing around the left side corners (please see pictures). The rear rack braces are not present along with two of the XLR/1/4” switch stopper tabs (please see pictures). The power cable is completely intact with all three pins.
The original owner’s manual is not present but can easily be downloaded directly from Yamaha’s website. Due to its age, this unit is being sold as-is. This is a wonderful piece of sheer art from Yamaha with so many practical and creative possibilities.
