This is a top quality 1/4" jack that can be wired for mono or stereo. Easily tightens from the outside. That's pretty convenient when you can't get your hand in the instrument, especially on ukes!
Wiring info:
- Tip (positive) is shortest terminal
- Ring (stereo output or battery switch) is mid-length terminal
- Ground is the long terminal coming off the side of the jack
Dimensions:
- Overall length: 1-13/16" (46.04mm)
- Threaded portion: 1-1/8" (28.58mm)
- Thread: 9/16-12
- Diameter: .556" (14.12mm)
Installation tip: Use a tap to cut 9/16-12 wood threads in the tailblock, which will fit the jack perfectly. A 1/2" starter hole is required — get one with our Endpin Jack Reamer (sold separately).
