Very cool custom build based on a 1979 Greco Stratocaster.
Very rare all mahogany strat. weighs 8.3 lb
One piece mahogany neck with dark rosewood board (brazilian?) and three piece mahogany body. Wear is consistent with 1979, buckle rash and small chips and dings, but nothing major to note. fretboard and frets are great. Tone is fat, clear, and defined with this guitar and its pickups. Easily drives your amp to breakup. Arcane Phil X Super 8 ALNICO 8 15.8 K in the bridge, Kinman Hx-85 V2 in the middle, and a Fralin P-90 in the neck. Pro wiring harness. Five position switch combines pickups as shown in last photo. Bridge is a 1989 Paul Reed Smith one piece tremelo, guitar was professionally modified for the bridge placement. Expensive Asher thick Italian celuloid pickguard, PRS knobs, vintage Grover tuners. Selling much less than build cost, which was about 3K. Great neck profile that is a very soft V that transitions to a C shape at the higher frets. Nut is 1.614", 0.880" at first fret, 0.951" at 12th fret. 7.25 radius. Ships in a gray Fender gigbag in decent condition.
