 Time to open up the cage and let the rock monster out... Any metal enthusiast only needs to take one look at this bad boy to know that this is a lights out shred machine. This B.C Rich was produced around 1987 and thanks to the help of some great B.C Rich forum experts, we learned it was a Custom Optioned Assassin or ST III.  It was made in the USA and this metallic black finished Alder body has been paired with a sweet, dark rosewood fretboard with rare triangular inlays. The neck is a fact C profile that measures... It sounds the part and has some crazy nice sounding American made EMG's and 81 for the bridge and an 85 for the neck respectively. The can hammer home all the hard riffs and cut through the mix to deliver smoking leads when pushed. Paired with a nice Marshall or Mesa Boogie and this is an intricate part of one tasty shred-tastic metal recipe. This is guitar is no closet queen and wears a few bumps and bruises like badges of honor. You can see in the pictures there are a few scattered dings, dents, scuffs and minor spots on the top that were touched up,  but that should be expected from a guitar that was born to be rocked hard. It was not packed away in a closet or set in a corner for display...This bad-ass mojo machine lived, rocked and now is ready for some more. It has two small touch-ups to the finish on the top and has been professionally setup for optimal tone and playability, so go ahead... open the cage door and let the Assassin out!

It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been leveled / dressed / polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
