Up for sale super cool and quirky made in Japan Sears Roebuck & Co Model 319-1412 Electric Guitar in very good condition and perfect working order. We just gave it a pro set up so 10-46 gauge strings so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action and the original single coil pickups sound great! There are no dead frets and very minimal buzzing, which is a rare occurrence on these guitars. Definitely one of the better ones to come through the shop.

Cosmetically, this instrument is clean for its age and has been well taken care of. That said, there is some mild and expected cosmetic wear such as: dings scattered around, swirl marks, scratches, pick scratches on the guard and finish checking. The pickguard has a small crack down by the input jack. The original frets look great still with no real discernible wear to speak of. See pics for condition and please excuse any reflections.

The model of this guitar was taken from the label on the neck plate. The date made for this was just an educated guess. To the best of our knowledge, this instrument has all original parts. That said, we haven’t looked underneath the pickguard. Pickups definitely look original though. What isn’t original is the way that the guitar is wired. First off, both of the switches are disconnected. We were told that they work but we’re purposely disconnected. We haven’t confirmed that though. Secondly, the tone and middle volume knob appear to also have been taken out of the circuit. Again, we were told this was done purposely but have not confirm any of this. The way the guitar is currently wired up is that both pickups are engaged with a single volume knob, and that’s it. No other tonal options. Super fun and quirky MIJ guitar that actually plays well. Sold “As-Described”. Comes with a gig bag. The guitar weighs 6lbs 7.5oz. The nut width is 1.695”. The neck thickness is .825” at the 1st fret and .915“ at the 12th fret. The scale length is 24.75”.
