This model is the T-Top Genesee Tele, from their G-Vintage collection, and combines cutting edge design, captivating looks, and legendary tone. It features a chambered basswood body yielding a light-weight guitar of superb resonance and open tone. This wonderful tonewood is finished in a special hand-rubbed Tru-Oil process that lets the wood breathe and resonate naturally and unencumbered, while providing a vintage worn-in appearance. This guitar has excellent acoustic volume, thanks to the chambered body which is capped with a T-Top, or Tone Top, made from a real 80+ year old Genesee beer crate. The top is a stunning example of the use of vintage meets modern technology in the creation of a true work of art. Its fat and woody voice is captured by a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity Tele pickups. These single-coils deliver classic output, excellent midrange harmonics, and superb dynamics and clarity. The breathtaking neck is maple and has a soft V profile for absolute comfort. Finished in the same Tru-Oil, the neck is silky smooth and fast. The rosewood fretboard has 22-frets, and the compound radius of 9.5" to 12" creates the utmost in playability in all registers. Completing the supreme quality of this instrument is a Barden 3-saddle bridge, with compensated brass saddles, and Sperzel tuners keeping it all in tune.
