Pono MTC-SP (s) Tenor Cutaway Ukulele 2019 natural gloss

During the COVID pandemic we flagged and held back several Pono ukuleles.  And so now, we need to move them out.  They are all new, in excellent condition, never played, and never sold.  Absolutely no structural issues, only cosmetic, not meeting up to our high standards of cosmetic beauty. Some have minor scratches or dents, but in most cases they are just old stock that needs to be sold.  

All sales are final, no returns, no refunds.  Although this may cause some anxiety, anyone who has purchased a Pono instrument knows our honest reputation.  So you will be buying a new instrument at a fraction of the original cost.  

This MTC-SP model is part of our new "Pro Series" For many years, for our fanciest models we only have what we called a PC or Pro Classic Series.  Now we have decided to slightly modify the Pro Classic model to not include back binding.  This saves us much time an expense, and so the new Pro Series is a good deal.  Solid Honduran Mahogany back, and sides, solid Engelmann Spruce for the top, graceful cutaway body, top binding and purfling, a wood marquetry rosette, and a gloss finish.

As a side note, all Pono instruments are made of all solid woods, wood marquetry rosettes, bone nuts and saddles, and Grover tuners. Ebony fingerboards and bridges, solid or slotted headstocks, and either a satin or gloss finish.

The only issue with this model is a very small black line next to the fingerboard tongue, which you can see in one of the photos. Otherwise it's simply an overstock item, and now not a current 2022 model, so we need to clear out inventory. We used to sell these out of our showroom, but since the pandemic began we closed down visitation. 

 Designs are the same for 2022, none have changed.  

Current 2022 Retail Price for this particular model is $929. And the retail price will increase to $1049 in July.
