This is a 1976 Fender 300 PS Bass Tube Amp. The Fender 300 PS, along with the Ampeg SVT, were the pinacle of guitar amplifier excess. This is one of the Biggest, Baddest Tube Amps Fender ever built. This Amp is built for playing in Stadiums and Arena's. 325 Watts of All Tube Power!

Hand Wired, Point to Point and tagboard construction. All Brand New Tubes. Four matching 6550 JJ output tubes and one 6V6GT Driver. Take a look at the size of the transformers. I have included pictures. See picture #12. This amp has been restored. When I acquired the amp, the cabinet was cracked. Our amp tech repaired the cabinet and recovered it in brand new black tolex. He also replaced the top and back screens. The grill cloth has been replaced also. It is Fender grill cloth in the classic Fender color. The original color is black and we changed it to the silver/blue cloth because it looks better! We also upgraded the cord to a grounded AC cord. The actual amp: wiring, pots, transformers are all original. The amp has had a very major service and works just fine. You will not have to spend any additional monies on this amp. This amp sounds Awesome! If you are into "Tone" this is the right choice. And Loud. Can be used as a guitar amp. You just have to make sure your speaker cabinet can handle all of this power.

This is a very rare and collectable amp. You do not see these everyday. It is completely serviced. You will not have to spend any additional money on this amp. It is gig ready on arrival.

 Cosmetics: Excellent Condition. Tolex is brand new. Handles and corner pieces are scratched. They are original. Instrument control panel and lettering in good shape. Grill Cloth is new. Keep in mind that this is a 39 year old vintage amp. Dripping with "Mojo" It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
