Very sweet sound. Came from the Ukraine where it was handmade in an instrument maker’s workshop. The 10 holes give it a good range and it reaches over an octave. Made of native Hornbeam wood, with Brass and a cork fit for the head. Comes apart in 2pieces. Length is 480mm and a little over an inch in diameter. Convenient travel instrument because it comes apart, so it’s very easy to carry.
I just got it from the Ukraine. Only selling because I already have 17 flutes of different kinds and don’t really need another one. But I was happy to help a Ukrainian flute maker.
