Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1970-1972 Goldtop

This is a very nice guitar in original condition. Everything looks to be original on the guitar. No headstock cracks/repairs. Plenty of fret life. There is a good amount of finish checking all over, some of which is visible in the photographs. There’s buckle rash and some worn spots on the neck which should be visible in the photographs as well. I’ve tried to include photographs which show chips in the paint, there may be some other minor ones that aren’t visible. It isn’t really possible to see clearly see a date on any of the pots - you can tell in the pictures that the solder joints are free from breaks and the pickup wire is the braided variety appropriate to the age of the guitar. It was common in the early 70s for Gibson to use previously bulk purchased CTS pots from the mid 60s so pot dating can be an unreliable way to determine originality. The one tone pot I can see looks like it might have be dated 13765…but the ground wire is in the way of a clear look. Weighs 9.1 lbs. The case is original and clearly has had some fun in its lifetime. The handle is a replacement and the metal feet are gone (see photo). It latches securely and operates as it should. No international buyers and no lowball offers please.
