This is a very unique piece of gear and fairly rare. This was before ADAT, before DAT even, and used for analog to digital videotape recording. This was specifically the Japan issue like the one the Grateful Dead used to record their shows to videotape before the advent of what we now know as digital recording. In fact, this technology informed what eventually became CD's. Unique to this unit was it had both analog inputs and outputs and digital inputs and outputs which not every model at the time had. Owned by Motown legend Bob Olhsson. Bob has given me some of his gear to sell as he is moving and isn't using them anymore. Comes with step up converter to 120v because at the time Japan was 100v. If you have to transfer old audio videotapes, this is the top unit with great converters.
It will be extremely well packed and sent insured and signature only. All sales go directly to Bob. Thanks for looking.
