Fender Stratocaster 1966 Closet Classic Custom Shop Master Built 2006 Shoreline Gold Mark Kendrick

I bought this guitar between 2008-2009 at Wildwest guitars  Corona, California.
It was built by Founder Masterbuilder Mark Kendrick (1991-2016) in Fender’s Custom Shop to replicate an original Strat that was made and purchased in 1966, played a little, and then stuck in the closet for decades.

Mark Kendrick built one off special edition Fender guitars for Eric Clapton, Merle Haggard, Roscoe Beck, JD Dworkow, Buck Owens, Sting, Stu Hamm, Mark Browne and Bob Dylan.The light relic consists of mild checking in the nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a few small dings, gently oxidized hardware, and aged plastic parts.

I never gigged this guitar, I only used in my home studio since I bought it.
Everything is original; the case has some scratches, dents and one of the locking brackets is broken.
It has the perfect Stratocaster sound, the neck is very comfortable, frets have very light use.
It is very light weight; I would say very close to 7 lbs or so.
It comes with all original accessories, certificates as pictured.
Master build guitars like this do not show up very often, so this could really be a one in a lifetime opportunity.
