Epiphone Sorrento - Prototype 1969 Sunburst

This is a one-of-a-kind custom made Epiphone Sorrento, made by Gibson in 1969. The label says Sorrento but this guitar has features very unlike any Sorrento we have ever encountered. It has a full depth body and a double Venetian cutaway, like a Barney Kessel. That said, it is a little smaller than a Barney Kessel body. We don't know if this was customer ordered, or perhaps an employee made one-off. Either way, you would be the only kid on the block... It is 100% original and in very nice shape. The original mini humbuckers sound great. This guitar has been pro-setup in our shop and it is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original case.
