1970 Gibson SG Standard Wiring Harness Pots CTS 500K Brass Cavity Shielding 1969 1971

Original vintage early 1970 Gibson SG Standard wiring harness with factory original brass control cavity shielding tray.  All original, very nice example in nice vintage condition.  This harness has been tested and it is in good working order...fully functional.  CTS 500K pots all have matching date codes of 1377010 which date them to the 10th week of 1970.  Original factory installed .02 100V capacitors, Switchcraft 3 position pickup selector toggle switch, and Carter USA mono input jack.  Original knob pointers and hex nuts are also included.  All four pots turn freely and smoothly.  All four give good strong readings when checked on my multimeter.  This harness was salvaged from a 1970 SG Standard that someone smashed a la Pete Townshend.  This harness is 100% original with no modifications of any kind.

This 40+ year old wiring harness is in very nice vintage condition, clean for its age.  This is a vintage correct part for a 1970 Gibson SG Standard or SG Special guitar.  It will also fit older SG guitars manufactured from 1966 - 1969, as well as newer SG guitars manufactured from 1971 - present.  Perfect for a vintage Gibson restoration or to add some vintage mojo to a modern Gibson guitar.
