Here is a very cool vintage acoustic Gibson player's guitar. The Gibson dates from the mid 1960s. The guitar is all original other than the upgrades mentioned above and a flipped truss-rod cover. It is structurally sound with no breaks, cracks or repairs of any kind. The guitar's action around the 12th fret is (a little) high at standard tuning so I’ve kept it down-tuned and actually prefer the sound of these non- braced older smaller bodied Gibson’s down-tuned, they just have a bigger boom and punch that way. That being said, the action is comfortable in all positions and along with the other modifications this guitar is a unique joy to play, perform, record & write songs with.

The guitar will come with a new set of D'Addario strings or re-strung based on buyer's choice before being packed and will be put in an extremely safe but ugly styrofoam guitar case and boxed before being shipped.
