This '96 Summit Artist is one of the very first Artist models made -- top of the Summit line. This is a pro level mandolin in every way. Woods used in this mandolin are from a very old stash that Paul Schneider got from his time with Bob Givens at Ode. The top is stunning quarter sawed spruce. Back, sides and neck are HIGHLY flamed curly maple. Abalone inlays, engraved James tailpiece, Schertler Resocoil pickup. Original HSC. The case in the pics is not the one that comes with the mandolin. Included is a early version of the Tone Gard. Arm rest is included. Plays like butter. Frets are great. Neck set is perfect. This mandolin needs nothing. I have a sound clip if interested.
