The Sansui AU-X111 MOS Vintage, released in Japan in 1985 during the “Golden Era” of high-fidelity Japanese audio equipment, is a “master quality” integrated amplifier with an exceptional reputation. It offers a rated output power of 110W + 110W (8 Ohms) with total harmonic distortion (THD) of <0.008%. Clocking in at 35.1 kg (78 lb), this thing is built like a tank, but to a high degree of precision. The amp circuits is of the highest quality , featuring 16 MOS FETs (!) In the diamond power stage, 4 apiece for the positive and negative sides of the left and right channels. Sansui is known to pursue improvement of the electronic signal characteristics via materials engineering. For example, by the use of pure copper and demagnetized bonding wire, the signal cutoff frequency is improved, and the signal bandwidth is widened.This is a top-of-the-line amp, and everything about this amp spells quality, with its precise, thoughtful construction and handsome appearance, featuring real rosewood paneling. These fantastic vintage Sansui amps are rather rare, so don't miss this one in very good condition!

This unit is in very good condition, with some signs of age and use, including some scratches and scuffs as a whole (please see photos).
