1962 Fender Jaguar ***Pre-CBS***All Original***Slab board***

SLAB BOARD!!  It's all about the slab board and the deeper sound that this thick piece of Brazilian rosewood provides.  And this is a very early model; the neck stamp reads"1 MAY 62 B".  And the sound is incredible, a Pre-CBS Fender instrument in all its glory.  At the time, the Jaguar was actually the most expensive guitar in the Fender line-up.  And this baby is ALL ORIGINAL, except for the trem arm (& refret described below).  I'll be posting a video of me playing it so you can hear how perfect this instrument sounds.  The body has some dings and scratches, as you'd expect from a guitar this old.  To me it just adds to the charm, which is why all these relic'd Fender Custom Shop guitars are so popular.  They are trying to recrate the feel of a guitar like this, but there's nothing like the real thing.  As you can see in the pictures, the neck is in great shape and it feels perfect.  Stand-by for the video coming soon!
