Sennheiser M8

I bought it for 2 grand recently. Not including the shipping. 

Nice thick sounding pres. Iron, throughout. Heavy. The Eqs are Sweet and musical. 

Rare Sennheiser M8 Professional mixing console with 6 line / mic input modules (balanced transformers), High Quality Haufe transformers on all in and outs. Lots of Iron.  Summing bus with limiter (Haufe transformers) and aux fader and cover. 

The main limiter is an Optical soft knee compressor. Nice for imitating tape compression

You can hear that the build quality is like the old Neumann / Studer mixing consoles. Thick, Heavy sound. Sweet Eq. All input modules have a 3 band equalizer with parametric mid and on/off switch, -20dB Line and Mic XLR inputs, aux send (pre eq, post eq, pre fader), pfl switch, headphone out, pan pot, overload led, 48V switch, 70dB gain. 

I made a video. Drum machine into Micpre (with pad attenuator on the line level) . Effects from aux into line 6 channel. I play with EQ. You can hear the transformers. The weight. I dont have a monitor setup right now so this is just going from the headphone output into a low budget digital practice amp. Still sounds good.

All faders are Penny & Giles ones which are working smoothly. 

The mixer is in good working condition, 3 problems. One VU light is out, top pot on channel 1's eq is a bit scratchy,  and the fine gain pot on channel 5 needs to be replaced. It works, but rotates. 

It's 220V.  European.  I'll provide the Voltage transformer. You can see it in the photos. Power cord with European plug is included.

Very very heavy. Small footprint. Built like a tank.
