The Engelhardt ES1 Supreme double bass possesses a remarkably rich and vibrant tone that is balanced throughout its entire range. Beautifully proportioned and finished for the ultimate in appearance, the body has a selected, close grain spruce top, a choice curly maple back that is fully arched and carefully laminated to assure years of trouble-free use. The upright bass also features a hard rock maple neck and a rich Cremona brown finish with golden-brown highlights that is hand-rubbed and hand-polished to a rich luster. Comes with a stand, Soft Case, and a bow. Has some superficial varnish coming off where top meets the side.
