C. Bruno New York made parlor guitar from around 1890. Possibly a model A. Top of the headstock is stamped with a capital A. 24.5 scale, 12" lower bout and 3.5" depth. This instrument is overall in great condition for it's age. The top is crack free and without issues which is pretty amazing. The solid Brazillian Rosewood back and sides have evidence of a few side crack and back seam repairs. Original tuners are usable and hold tune but have some play. The finish, while touched up on the sides appears to be pretty much original). Small heel strap button hole has been filled. This instrument is braced and designed for nylon strings and has a non compensated saddle that can't be lowered (I would not recommend stringing this with silk and steel). The neck is dead straight and has had a reset at some point. Action is pretty standard for this instruments period (approx 4/32" at the 12th). If you want a more contemporary lower action a fresh neck reset is probably the solution. Comes with a modern hard case. (Compare to Martin, Gibson, Washburn, from this period)
