1972 Rickenbacker 4001 in rare Azure Glo finish. Built December 1972. Original toaster in the neck and hi gain bridge pickup. The bridge pickup was replaced with a horseshoe at one point but the hi gain is back in.
Full width crushed inlays, gap tooth bridge, checkerboard binding, plexi truss rod cover. Truss rods are straight with no problems. No separation of the fretboard at the nut.Currently set up with Rotosound 50-110s. Tuners were replaced prior to me owning this bass.
I have tried to represent any flaws in the pictures. There are nicks, dings, and buckle rash. There is a chip in the headstock. This bass has been played and is a great player. Original blue interior case. Weight is around 9 pounds. Please ask any questions and I will gladly take more pictures if needed.
If you’re local we can arrange viewing in person. Thanks for looking!
