Built by master luthier Roy McAlister who formerly worked with Richard Hoover at the Santa Cruz Guitar Company in the 90s.
Very special instrument and likely the only one made of its kind by Roy.
Italian Spruce top and curly California Walnut back/sides. It has a tone quality that only a guitar hand-built by a master luthier can have, excellent balance with a crystal clear high end that rings on and on. Superb guitar for fingerstyle.
Other than some finish checking (visible in the last photo), guitar is in excellent condition. Finish checking is purely aesthetic , ie, does not affect the tone or structural integrity. In fact, it is only visible if you hold it just right in the light. Absolutely no cracks or any structural issues. Doesn't really even have scratches to note.
Priced to sell. You won't find a McAlister in this condition for a lower price. Please ask questions.
