Taken off a ONE OWNER 1986 TAMA DRUM KIT BACK IN 1986 WHEN KIT WAS PURCHASED NEW!... HEADS WERE REMOVED THAT DAY IN SAM ASH AND WERE REPLACED BY BLACK EBONY HEADS ON THE ENTIRE KIT TOP & BOTTOM BEFORE THE KIT LEFT THE STORE!
SO THIS WAS BASICALLY NEVER HIT AND IS VIRTUALLY NEW OLD STOCK ( N.O.S.) STORED AWAY FOR THE PAST 36 YEARS!...... AND HAS NEVER BEEN USED. SO IT WAS ONLY ON A DRUM FOR A VERY SHORT TIME IN 1986 FROM WHEN THE FACTORY MADE THE DRUM KIT, SHIPPED IT TO SAM ASH STORE AND BUYER REMOVED ALL BOTTOM HEADS ON THE NEW KIT IN THE STORE AND SWAPPED THEM FOR BLACK HEADS.
HOW DO I KNOW?.... BECAUSE THE BUYER WAS....ME :)
NEVER HIT! Drumhead was only on the BOTTOM of the drum for maybe a month and was never hit!
