2001 Laraviee P-09 Parlor Rosewood Special Edition Satin Clear Coat!

Absolutely beautiful version of a parlor guitar by one of the premiere builder of high end Acoustic guitars in the world, and this is no exception. Amazing craftsmanship in all wood joints and inlays. The woods are top quality, and the Rosewood on the back and side is deeply figured and dense and dark, gorgeous. The satin finish gives a smooth silky feel that make fretting a breeze up and down the neck, and shows off the beauty of the wood and gives it a natural appeal. She has incredible projection for such a small body, but the Rosewood back and side along with Sitka Spruce top make a deep sound box. Usually in a parlor guitar the bass string are tiney and thin but with the P-09 they are thick and rich, and the treble strings bright and ringing.

I used this guitar quite a bit in recording and an occasionally performance but it has been babied. The stainless steel frets show no wear. Always cased when not being played, and cleaned after every session. The only mark it's managed to pick up is a small scuff on the back (not sure how) that could be colored and no one would know it's there. It is shown in a picture and it is as shown less than a fingertip wide. Other than that the guitar is pristine.

If you've been looking for a parlor for its size or unique tone that is of the utmost quality, this is it. It's sound though different from a concert or dreadnaught I think it sounds far superior to most of either. It just has a sound that draws people in. On top of that, it is one of the easiest guitars to play. Very comfortable fret spacing, and a very light fretting pressure required to play. It's a very special instrument, and one that never disappoints.

Every guitar I list is gone through any and all repairs needed till it it is in top notch form, and even if brand new I change the strings to top grade D’Addario XL110s (unless you prefer another make) and preform a full set-up including a digital strobe intonation. So if you buy a New guitar from me, it is actually better than New, as it would be ready to go straight to the stage out of the box. I have done a full setup on this guitar, including a spot on strobe intonation and a fresh set of D’Addario XL-110 (.420-.010) which give it a deep rich tone and never ending sustain.
