Micro Seiki DQ-7:
A high-fidelity Japanese "Golden Era" direct-drive turntable!
Item Description
The Micro Seiki DQ-7, released in Japan in 1979 during the Japanese "Golden Era" of high-fidelity audio equipment, is a wonderful vintage turntable from a highly-regarded Japanese producer. Micro Seiki has acquired a great reputation over the years for its high-quality turntables, and this DQ-7 meets that reputation. Similar to other Japanese turntables of the era, the DQ-7 operates with a direct-drive system, with a quartz phase-locked loop (PLL), for exceptional rotational stability. The turntable has the Dynamic Balanced Tonearm. It is a highly precise unit, with a solid build quality. Overall, the DQ-7 is a superb turntable with exceptional mechanical engineering, a minimalist design, and incredible sound. You’ll love it!
This unit is in excellent condition overall (please see pictures), with only minor signs of age and use throughout, including a few minor scratches and scuffs which are not noticeable. The dust cover has some scratches and a crack on the back side (please see dust cover policy). The unit has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. The 33 and 45 settings both work perfectly, and the platter rotation is like clockwork, as expected from Japanese products of this era, which were built for a lifetime of operation.
