I'm selling a Hohner Lucia IV P in very good condition. Estimated to have been made in the late 1950s* in Germany, this 96 bass accordion has recently been completely overhauled. The treble of the Hohner Lucia is equipped with 4 choirs, which can be switched over 9 registers. The bass has 3 bass registers.
I bought the Hohner in the 1990s with the idea I'd learn to play it. That never happened and it was stored away for the next 30 years. It's always been kept in a climate controlled, smoke free environment.
Condition: Very good. There is however one screw-in foot missing on the bottom. I'm trying to locate a replacement. In the meantime I have a temporary substitute.
Features: Lightweight and versatile. Comment from an internet discussion site: "I know the Lucia IV P from my own playing practice - it is a pleasant to play accordion with a soft sound."
Includes: Used Straps and Case
Note the supplied video does not feature this instrument but is of this model, the Lucia IV P.
*Note: Comment from an internet discussion site: "Hohner Lucia IV P = 4 courses (9 treble registers, double octave tuning, built in 1953, 1956-61 and 1973)." Since this accordion has square, white buttons for the treble registers, it was probably built in the late 1950s.
