Made in Japan circa 1984-87. A great playing and sounding bass - just ask Duff McKagan from Guns N Roses! Neck is straight, and this has an easy, low action. In very good condition, but there are some assorted dings and marks (see photos), and is priced accordingly. The bass is probably one of the most versatile fender basses ever made. It has 22 frets verses the regular 20, the P pickup is reversed, it has a J pickup and a skinny J neck. It has a TBX tone circuit which opens it up very well and a active passive switch along with a 3 way switch for easily selecting a P , PJ or J pickup all on the fly. Bass is in very clean order, meaning not dusty or crusty. Its been polished and kept nice. It also has a fresh set of Ernie Ball slinkies and a new battery, bass can head to a gig right now. The original Fender hard shell case is included!

This is a serious, pro bass at a great price!
